Lesley is an experienced quality, food safety, risk and business continuity professional with over 30 years' experience in the food industry. In that time Lesley has developed and implemented a wide range of programmes and processes for one of Australasia's leading FMCG companies as well as handling material business interruption events.

Specialising in developing, implementing and improving a wide range of Management Systems aimed at complying with internal and external Stakeholder requirements and dealing with "the things that keep you awake at night..."

Asset Protection and Insurance Loss Prevention Programs

·Review and development of programs and standards aimed at reducing risk and addressing Insurers requirements relating to Property and Products (Malicious Product Tamper, Accidental Contamination)

·Asset Protection Improvement Projects such as Hazardous Areas (Combustible Dusts, Flammable Gases and Vapours), Metal Halide Lighting, Sprinkler Systems, Combustible Building Materials

·Audits of Contract Manufacturers and Third Party Warehousing providers

·Training: Asset Protection overview, Hazardous Areas

Legal Compliance Programs

· Training: Commerce Act, Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Act.

Qualifications

Diploma in Business, Certificate Business Continuity Institute, HACCP, Occupational Health & Safety (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation), NZ Certificate in Science

European Foods - Management Systems Audit and Risk Assessment.

Bobux International - Health and Safety Management system audit

Auckland Regional Public Health Service (Contract) Emergency Planner - Development of Emergency Response Framework, Emergency Plan review, EBOLA Response review and debrief report.

Goodman Fielder (AU/NZ) - Risk and Crisis Management roles at Corporate and Divisional level. Quality Assurance and Food Safety roles at Bluebird Foods.

ETA Foods Limited - Laboratory Supervisor, Quality Control and Raw Materials testing, implemented on line process control, Sanitation procedures and development of potato crop quality testing programme.
